LABOR'S portrayal of Tony Abbott as too negative appears to have hit home, with the latest Newspoll finding voter dissatisfaction with the Opposition Leader's performance at a record high of 57 per cent.
And Julia Gillard appears to be staging a political comeback, winning a three-percentage-point increase in Labor's primary vote in the past fortnight, and stretching her gains to six percentage points in the past seven weeks.
