Update for NSW Firefighters / FBEU members
The relieving bans continue as per the State Secretary's Code Red yesterday, and today's update here.
Dept faxes asking crews to respond under normal road conditions with less than minimum crewing are to be ignored.
No appliance is to respond with anything less than SO+3.
Specialist appliances must not respond unless fully crewed.
Any station that is closed due to the Dept not recalling/staffing, we ask that if you have a station notice board, information be placed on it telling the community that the Fire Brigade has closed the station to save money. See attached pic as example.
Information will continue to be available on the Union web site, forum, online communications and social networking.
Contact your local Union Official for more information or advice
